Cherry MX Silent

1) Krytox GPL 205G0
2) Tribosys 3204
3) Tribosys 3203

You can swap 1 & 3 depending on if you value the speed (3203) or the smoothness (205G0).

Along with Cherry MX Speeds, Cherry MX Silents were one of the first switches to use a new stem mold sometime in 2016. As such, there are no pretool versions of this switch, which is a good thing!  Cherry MX Silents have the unfortunate displeasure of being a complete garbage switch when not lubed. They're kinda sticky, scratchy, there's noticeable noise, and the stock spring feels like the inside of satan's butthole after a bad evening eating at Taco Hell. This changes drastically after the switches are lubed, and the noise and overall scratch, noise, and stickiness factors all take a dip down. They're not a perfect switch by all means, but they can get pretty damn good once lubed.

These switches' stems make up one of my favorite frankenswitch combos. Either pair them with a Zealio housing for MX Zilents, or pair them with a Cream housing for Krelbos!

A nice thin coating of 205G0 will serve these puppies just fine for me. Just make sure you don't get a lot on the softer parts of rubber/silicone/whatever on the sides of the slider, as that may end up making the switch stickier overall.
