Metaverse tail-end fulfillment issues

Hello, I've got some pretty bad news for those few still waiting on transit for GMK Metaverse 2.

 

Royal Kits

By my own clerical error, extras were not purchased of the Metaverse 2 Royal Kits. This is entirely on me and I apologize deeply for the issue. The root of the problem lies in the fact that pre-order extra Royal Kits were sold during the time where I had not realized this mistake had happened.

At this time, there are about 40 unaccounted-for Royal Kits that cannot be fulfilled at this time due to my own stupidity. This unfortunately also includes Dead Encryption sets.

Going forward, pre-orders will not happen on any more of my GMK sets. Sets will be sold as extras when I can firmly count what is on hand. I've also checked the other 2 group buys currently in production. Those numbers check out.

I wholeheartedly apologize for this stupid mistake.

 

Sleeves

While packing sleeves, I realized that there were a good amount of sleeves that were missing from the piles that were on packing slips. Many of these sleeves were one-of orders, which prompted me to look into my records and notice that the quantity of many sleeves had simply not decreased, and sleeves had not appeared in my daily sale summaries, despite the fact that money was still collected and confirmations were sent to customers. These sales, as a result, never entered the spreadsheet of orders that was sent to yasintahir, and these sleeves were never made. Currently, there are about 11 sleeves that are affected by this and therefore nonexistent.

I truly do not know what went wrong here, and as someone who buys character goods, I know that it's frustrating to know you won't get them. Going forward, I will definitely have to limit the amount of SKUs offered. Even if my store didn't bamboozle me during the group buy, 90 different variations of a product is really, really hard to keep up with.

 

These issues were completely avoidable and even though this is my first "big boy" group buy, there were lots of things I could do better, and I am taking these failures and channeling them into some much stricter contingencies for future projects. I will thank you for your support, and I will accept your criticism.

That being said:

My attempt at some kind of solution

While I do not have extra Royal Kits or Sleeves, I will try my best to make you feel like you didn't get jipped on this. I really do want to make it clear that I don't want to leave you high and dry. You may be unsatisified with my idea of compensation, but please understand this really is the best I can do.

1) Each missing sleeve or Royal Kit can be exchanged for a Novelty Kit, Spacebar Kit, or two (2) Deskmats from the GMK Metaverse 2 Group buy. If a customer has 3 or more missing items, they can receive a Base Kit if they want.

2) A partial refund can be made for 100% of the value of the missing item, and the rest of the order will be sent as normal. If this option is taken, you will also be given a $10 coupon for each missing item, applicable to Switchmod Keyboards orders in the future. This one-time-use coupon will be allowed to be applied to any product or group buy sold on this site.

3) Full refunds and order cancellations are available. If this option is taken, you will also be given a $35 coupon for each missing item, applicable to Switchmod Keyboards orders in the future. This one-time-use coupon will be allowed to be applied to any product or group buy sold on this site.

About 60 total orders are impacted by these issues, and that's 60 people I let down. I feel absolutely terrible about all of this. The financial loss isn't the end of the world, but knowing I let people down because of my own inexperience and incompetence is absolutely the worst.

I'm so sorry. I will do better. I want to be a vendor that can be counted on every time and clearly I see I'm not there yet.
